Bec in the library

Get a real job! November 10, 2015

Well, I did!

I’m living my dream and am now a working TL.

It’s been a vertical learning curve, with tears pretty much outweighing the laughs but I’m constantly fascinated and challenged by how hard it is to put theory into practice.

My only regret is that I have not blogged since starting my role as elementary librarian at a bilingual school in China. In just the 6 months I have worked at the school, I have changed my mind, my learning spaces and my ‘angle’ more times than I’ve changed my underwear.

I am literally learning on the job and I couldn’t be happier despite the aforementioned tears.

I still wake up every day in shock that I get paid to work.
